The Founders

Dwight Linden and Dennis White have been active property developers in West Oakland since 2011.  Their first project was to bring to market the iconic Grand Gables condominium building on the corner of W Grand and Curtis.  They went on to redevelop the adjacent properties and Flatlands Development Holdings LLC, the company they formed, is currently erecting a new building on San Pablo Avenue and approval has already been obtained for another condominium building on W Grand Avenue.  Flatlands Development Holdings LLC has already acquired more property in the West Oakland area and is actively pursuing various redeveloppment ideas.

Dwight Linden is a serial entrepreneur with international experience creating and building up internet based businesses in Russia, Europe and the USA.

Dwight decided to settle in West Oakland when his adventures in Russia were done.  Dwight is the local point man for Flatlands Development Holdings, always out searching for the next project, making sure the current building project is working to plan and that the sales plans are meeting our goals. Dennis is a long time friend and colleague of Dwight.  They worked together in the highly volatile and entrepreneurial world of post-Soviet Russia, on and off for the best part of the last 20 years.  But now their focus is wholly on property development in West Oakland.

 

Dennis' background is in international finance management and he looks after the admin side of the business.  He is based in Sydney, Australia but is in constant discussion with the Flatlands team via the internet and, of course, he travels to Oakland on a regular basis.  You can contact Dennis at dennis.white@flatlands.biz
